I was hoping to post this at exactly 10:52 pm (the time she was born) but that didn't work out...oh well. At least it is getting posted before midnight.
I just can't believe it! Where, oh where has the last 6 months gone already? I know I say that every month but it's so true. My baby is growing up =( I'm sad. Here are a few things about Miss Kinsley at 6 months old.
* she sits all on her own. She's been doing this for a couple weeks now.
* LOVES watching her big sister.
* loves drinking from her big-girl sippy cup.
* If she catches you drinking, you better share with her or she gets downright MAD!
* still does not like tummy time. If you lay her down and she rolls over, she will scream until you roll her back over. She hasn't figured out how to roll from her tummy to back.
* loves to cuddle with Mommy.
* loves her big sister's dog, Kadi. (I would say our family dog but Aliyah would have to correct me, Kadi is her dog.)
* does NOT like baby cereal or baby food. She would much rather have whatever we are eating.
* still has no teeth but I think she is working on one. She has been a grumpy little girl these last couple of days.
* wears size 3 diapers.
* wears some 6-9 month clothes but really needs 12 month clothes....already!!
* is sleeping throught the night! Woohoo!
* loves to rip magazines apart...and eat them ;)
* likes to cover her face with a blanket while she is sleeping, yet hates to be covered while she is nursing. If I have to cover her, she will make sure to get the cover off. I even have a nursing cover and she manages to get that off of her, so I really have to be careful!
* enjoys her jumperoo very much.
* weighs around 22 lbs (I'm guessing) Her doctors appt. is next Tuesday and I will post her stats after. I can't wait to see how much she weighs b/c I know she is a porker.
Here a few photos I got of her this evening. I went to pick her up out of her swing to take some pictures of her and I felt something wet on her back. I thought "no, not now!" Sure enough, she had an explosive diaper. She had to have a bath so I just decided to go ahead and put her jammies on a bit early. Since I was going to put her in front of the Christmas tree, I put her Christmas jammies on.
She contemplating wether or not she can get the tree in her mouth...LOL
I didn't get any smiles out of her. She just hasn't been her normal smiley self the last couple of evenings. I'm really hoping she's working on getting some teeth and she's not coming down sick. Aliyah just got over being sick for over a week.
She looks so pitiful in this one. Like she has no desire to have her picture taken.
