Aliyah made a new friend today

Aliyah loves to go for walks so tonight she asked if we could go for a walk after dinner. She got on her bike and I got the dog and we headed down the street walking. We got 3 houses down and Aliyah met the little boy that lives there and that's the farthest we got on our walk. He was outside playing and came running out into the street to talk to Aliyah. He is the only one in our neighborhood that is Aliyah's age...everyone else is older than her. He hopped on his bike and they rode their bikes for a long time together. Then Aliyah asked him to come play in her yard so we all ended up in our yard. They played on the trampoline for a long time. I don't want to post a picture of the little boys face b/c I don't have his mother's permission but I thought this was a cute shot of them looking down at the water toys beneath the trampoline. Aliyah did almost everything her new friend did. It was so cute watching them play. When it was time for her friend to go home, his mommy had to climb on the trampoline and drag him home crying...he didn't want to go. Hopefully Aliyah and him will be able to play a lot more. She needs friends her own age.
