Almost every morning, this is what I find Aliyah doing. If I don't hear her and she doesn't come into our room by the time I get up, this is what she does. Sunday morning I got up and sure enough this is what she was doing. She didn't see me peekin through her door so I quietly shut it and ran and got my camera. I barely opened her door so she wouldn't see me so I could get these pictures. The girl LOVES her books and I am so thankful for that. Reading is such an important part of life and she is well on her way to being a great reader. The girl can memorize a book after I've read it to her twice....no kidding!!
This is her new favorite book. We rented it from the library and she did NOT want to give it back to the library so Brandon ordered it for her before we had to return it to the library. It's title is "Show Me Your Smile...Dora Goes To the Dentist" aka - "Dora's Dentist" as Aliyah calls it...lol.

That is the best! So wonderful that she's loves to read and does it on her own! She's a sweetie!!
I wouldn't want to get out of that cool bed either! LOL about reading, my kids have bookshelves in our family room and their bedroom, and a small stack in my room too! They love to pick up books.

Thank you everyone for your comments!!! I agree..she is a sweetie :)! Since I'm going to school to be a Special Ed teacher, I've seen many kids struggle with reading and even some that can't read at all and it just breaks my heart! I am so thankful to have a child that absolutely loves book and I'm glad I was able to capture this moment.
