Go Cardinals!!

We went to the Cardinals baseball game Sunday night with Brandon's parents. I debated forever whether I should go and take Kinsley or stay home with her since she is so little. I was most worried about it being too hot for her. It ended up raining Sunday morning and it was really nice here so I checked the weather in St. Louis around 3pm and it said 77. I asked Brandon what he thought and he wanted us to go so Kinsley and I went. Well the weather on the internet lied to me b/c when we got to the stadium at 7, it was 84 but felt more like 100. It was ridiculously hot. Kinsley was such a good baby though. She didn't get fussy at all until she got hungry. I'm so thankful that she is such a good baby!

Just to let everyone know, Brandon actually ended up taking more pictures than I did at the game. I took a few at the beginning of the game and then he had the camera the rest of the game. Only the first 3 shots were taken by me.

Good 'ole Fredbird slingshotting (is that even a word? ;) t-shirts into the crowd. Aliyah wanted a shirt so bad. Throughout the game she kept asking where Fredbird was. Toward the end of the game, she spotted him directly across the stadium from us. He was walking through the crowd. That girl has to have some good eyes! She was excited that she found him but then all of a sudden she said "I don't want Fredbird to come up here. He needs to stay over there!!" Poor little girl is terrified of any dressed up creatures. I mean completely terrified. Good thing Fredbird didn't decide to come visit us.

I noticed the sun peeking through the stadium so I thought I would try getting some sun flare. Definitly not the best flare ever, but I didn't think it was too bad for a first try. What do you think?

Everyone's favorite Cardinal player =)

Miss Kinsley at her first Cardinals game at a mere 6 weeks old. Look at those big eyes! I don't know if she was trying to figure out the people behind us or what.

She was smiling and cooing and Daddy actually got a quick smile on camera =) She just started really smiling and cooing on Saturday. I'm hoping to catch her on camera sometime this week and share.

I can't believe I'm actually posting this one. I look like a sweaty pig but it's not very often that I get in pictures when we go places. Its usually Brandon with one or both of the girls. Hopefully by posting this, Brandon will be encouraged to take more photos of me with the girls....just maybe.

I'm really glad I ended up going just to witness how excited Aliyah was the entire game. She was actually watching the game cheering and clapping almost the entire game. She was just so excited! Gotta love that cheesy grin ;)

Both girls got these cute little red Build-A-Bears that they were handing out to the kids and I just noticed that we didn't get a picture of them with their bears. I will try to get a picture of them with their bears tomorrow to post. Aliyah has been carrying hers everywhere so it shouldn't be too hard to get a picture of her with her bear...we will see though ;)

Wow, I can see Aliyah in that smiling shot of Kinsley. Tell Kinsley I said congrats on attending her first major league game. I didn't go to one until I was 9 LOL.

K is going to have a darling grain--love that shot. still can't get over how big her eyes are! Glad she made it through the game, and that the noise didn't bother her.
