a genuine smile

I was taking pictures of a baby today and I guess Miss Aliyah was feeling left out b/c she kept jumping in front of my camera. But I was ok with that b/c I finally got a genuine smile from her and I didn't even have to tell her to smile. Of course, she does look pretty stinkin' awnry in this picture but I still love it.

Complete with dried, leftover food and a tattoo that hasn't worn completely off. Yes, she put tattoos on her face. Nice, huh? I could have removed those 2 things in PS, but this was her today so I decided to leave them. Who knows, in 20 years when she's all grown up and out of the house, I might want to remember that dried, leftover food and partial tattoo on my baby on this day...
