family time

I have a ton of catching up to do but I'll do that later.  For now, here are some pictures from our weekend so far.  The girls and I were supposed to go stay with my friend Cindy this weekend but poor Cindy had a grueling week of training for her new job that she starts on Monday and she ended up getting sick while at her training.  That meant that I had to come up with stuff for us to do so the kids wouldn't go completely nuts...lol.  So last night, I packed up some stuff for a picnic, we grabbed some Dominos and headed out to the park to enjoy the gorgeous weather!  The girls had a blast and played for almost 2 hours!!  They got some much needed exercise and wore off quite a bit of their bottled up energy that they've been storing all winter =).  The swings were by far everyone's favorite!

 This was Emmy's first time on the swings at the park.  Last summer she was too small for them.  She LOVED swinging!!

Today, we headed off to Monkey Joe's and to get the girls' Easter pictures taken.  I don't even attempt to take pictures of all 3 of them myself anymore.  It's just much easier to go somewhere and let someone else deal with them.  And of course, they always do amazing for someone else! Stinkers.

I didn't get very many pictures at Monkey Joe's.  I was too busy keeping track of Kinsley and lugging Emmy around.  She wasn't all that thrilled with the blowups.  I put her in a couple different ones and she just sat there so we paid $5 for me to carry her around the whole time.  Oh well...  We finally went to the baby corner and chilled there while Daddy chased Kinsley.

 We ate at Daddy's favorite place since kids eat free there on the weekends =)

That girl made my day today.  As we were leaving Monkey Joe's, she said "I had fun!  That was fun!  This is the best day!"  That came from my 2-year-old wild child.  Totally melted my little mommy heart! =)

Oh, and I forgot to mention that those were all cell phone pics b/c I forgot to take my camera with me BOTH days!  Yeah, I forgot it last night and today!  Oh well, glad I have a decent camera on my phone.
