Her 4 month check-up was today. I took her to the doctor last Thursday b/c she wasn't keeping anything down. She was fine but I was worried. She weighed 17 lbs 2 oz last Thursday. Today she weighed 17 lbs 12 oz!!!!! 10 oz in 4 days!!! Our doctor and I talked about the whole vomitting thing and we've decided to not do any further testing at this point. Kinsley is gaining weight just fine (obviously ;) and she is not dehydrated or fussy so we see no point in putting her through more tests at this time. They seem to think that Kinsley is just so chubby that extra pressure is put on the valve at the top of her stomach, thus making her throw up. But she is obviously keeping something down. The vomitting has improved since last Thursday. It's not as frequent or as much, so that's awesome. Once she starts sitting up more and loosing some of that chubbiness, the vomitting should stop. Needless to say, this momma is a bit relieved or a LOT relieved ;)
Here's some pictures of my Little Chubbers on her 4-month-birthday, which was Friday.

I think I have found a way to get Aliyah in pictures. Just take pictures of Kinsley ;) I think she gets a bit jealous and she always jumps in the picture. Doesn't she look like such a proud big sister?

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one =)

Closest to a smile that I got. She is always so full of smiles...until that thing (camera) is in front of my face.

4 month shots are in the morning. I hate shots.

Oh, Kinsley is just adorable!! I am so glad that the vomiting issue is on the back burner for now. That is a BIG relief for you. Love the shot of her and Miss A, and that last shot is too cute. What cute girls you have!

She is so beautiful. I love her big eyes so much. They make up her whole face! And those cute little kissy lips...I want one!
My Katie had the same probs as well. Boy oh boy...we did every test. She was chubby as could be, but still spit up all the time...I thought she wasn't get anything in there. But just like you, we decided to stop the testing and figured that that the reflux would come to an end at some point, and it did about 2 months later.
Kinsley is adorable! I just love her chubbiness!
Awwwwwwww - what a sweetie!!! Love her chubby cheeks and her big beautiful eyes!!!
Ahh, she is gorgeous! I can't believe she is 4 months already. That is GREAT news about her weight gain!!! I hope she continues to improve!
My DD was the same way--a chubster and a constant vomiter. She outgrew the chub and the reflux before her first birthday. Beautiful photos of her!
So adorable...both of them! Love the great eyes you captured!
Both of them are adorable! And wonderful news about her weight gain!
HURRAY for some good news! :) I've been thinking about you! I love the 2nd to last shot, and her cute little "I know what you're doing mom" look in the second! Please keep us updated as things progress! Hopefully all for the best now!
Cheers,
