and because I'm holding a completely crabby Kinsley right now, I can't get up to write this down so I'm typing it on the 'ole blog so I don't forget it. Wondering what's so important?
Miss Kinsley finally decided to roll over tonight!! Actually just about 30 minutes ago. From her back to her stomach. She's been working on it for several days but just couldn't get all the way there. I wasn't expecting it tonight and therefore did not have the camera in hand like I have the last several days. Imagine that. It has taken her quite a while to do this because she would much rather be standing on her chubby little legs than lying flat on the boring old floor where she just can't see the world. I decided it was time for her to start learning to like the floor so she has gotten much more floor time lately and it paid off!
She also laughed outloud for the first time last night. I have been trying to get her to laugh for the longest time. She will grunt, coo, and make other noises but not laugh. I was kissing on her neck and she let out the cutest, most adorable little laugh ever. Of course, I kept doing until she finally got sick of it. Earlier this evening, when we were gettting ready to take the girls trick-or-treating, Brandon was getting Kinsley's costume on while I was getting Aliyah ready. I heard Kinsley laugh so loud. Brandon was making some little noise that she thought was just hilarious =) These little moments are the moments that make being a Mommy all worth it.
I did take pictures today but since Kinsley is being such a crabby girl right now, y'all will just have to wait until tomorrow to see them. Who knows, maybe I will have some pics of someone rolling over. Right now I've got to hit the sack. I'm going with Aliyah's pre-school class in the morning trick-or-treating all over town. Should be fun!
