another tumbling meet

Aliyah had another tumbling meet today. She made a mistake, which means she didn't place but she still got a trophy. They always get a trophy, no matter what, which is really nice. It shows the kids, especially the little ones, that they tried and did their best, which is what really matters in my opinion. Sure it's nice to get first, second, or third but what really counts is if you try your best and have fun while doing it and that's what we are trying to teach her. That you don't always have to be the best at everything and that it's ok to not always win and be perfect. She has one more meet before summer break and she says she's going to work really hard to get first place =)

Daddy was proud of her.


And I think she was happy with herself as well.
