Aliyah's 1st parade/our weekend

We had another great weekend! Friday evening, Aliyah was supposed to have her last tball game but it got cancelled due to the rain Thursday. Instead, her coach took the whole team to Dairy Queen for ice cream. Aliyah was pretty excited about that! Saturday, the girls and I headed to Granny's house for a day of play. My cousin brought her 2 girls and we let them play alllll day. We got there early and didn't leave until 9pm! On the way to Granny's, I stopped at Dollar General to pick up a pool so the girls could swim in Granny's backyard. I LOVE my Granny's house...she has a nice, flat, fenced-in backyard and she has a deck on the front of her house with a gate so the kids can't get out of it either! It's great for Kinsley b/c she can't go anywhere!!

The girls started the day off in the pool, of course while Emmy caught her morning zzz's.

This cracks me up. Kinsley kept splashing the water and it would hit her in the face and she would look at me with a "what the heck?" kind of look on her face. After several times of doing this, she finally figured out she was the cause of the water in her face...LOL.

These 2 play so well together. Every time I watch them play, it brings back memories of my cousin and I playing together when we were little and they like to do some of the same things we did. My cousin and I are 9 months apart and our girls are 9 months apart. Kind of cool.

After the little ones went down for a nap, these 2 got to ice and decorate cookies. I must say, the cookies turned out YUMMY and this mommy ate a few too many...

My cousin's youngest, Taylor. Love those big brown eyes!! Taylor turned 1 in April and she is sooo tiny. She weighs 16 lbs and Emmy was 14 lbs at her 2 month check!!

Emmy chillin in the Bumbo =) She's been chewing on her fingers constantly! She has a tooth on the bottom that she has been working on for several weeks now and that little booger will just NOT pop through!

She was watching the older girls here and whatever the did must have been pretty amazing...hahaha!

After supper, it was time to get ready for the parade! Here's the queen in her first parade! And Daddy got to drive that snazzy car!! He was pretty excited! =)

The sun was too bright and Aliyah forgot her sunglasses so she had to borrow Daddy's.

Miss Kinsley getting a sugar high on all that parade candy.

Waving to the horsies!

Today was spent lounging around at home. Aliyah woke up with a 102 temp this morning so I spent the day taking care of her. She's feeling better now but we'll see what morning brings...
