We went to Brandon's aunt's house to get Aliyah's hair done and she told Aliyah to flip her hair when she waved to the crowd and she actually did it!! Soooo cute and funny!!

She got a crown, sash, big trophy, a pink princess make up case, a crown necklace with matching crown ring, unlimited jumping in the bounce house, and a year long pass to the movie theater in town. I'm pretty excited about the movie pass. She gets in FREE for a whole year!!

I was so proud of her that I actually got teary eyed!

Sunday we got up and went to church. Aliyah had to wear her crown and sash, so we let her. Daddy got this picture before we left for church. I was determined to get a picture of the 3 of them all decked out in their July 4th dresses and their adorable bows that Aunt Jessica made! I didn't even care if they weren't all looking. Maybe I should have low expectations all the time b/c they ARE all looking at the camera!!

After church, we took a quick trip out to see the girls' new baby cousin, Claire. She was born Thursday and we've been so busy, we didn't even make it to the hospital. She's sooo tiny! Emmy is only 3 months and I've already forgotten that newborn stage....so sad! After meeting Claire we headed to Subway for some lunch, then home for K's nap. Got everyone and everything ready to go to head back out to the lake for the festivities. Aliyah had to be back out there to be introduced as the new Little Miss Firecracker. The girls jumped in the bounce houses for a while and then Mommy and Daddy snuck off for a dinner date while Grandma and Grandpa took the girls and fed them supper. We picked them up and headed back out to the lake to watch the fireworks. Poor Kinsley wasn't sure what to think of them. Her little heart was just pounding out of her chest! She kept saying "don't like that, don't like that" After sitting on my lap, she calmed down and started saying "pretty." LOL. Emersyn watched them for a while before eventually falling asleep. We ended the weekend by sleeping in this morning. Spent the day picking up and cleaning house before heading out to Aliyah's t-ball game this evening.
Hope you all had a wonderful, safe Happy 4th of July!!
