May has been extremely busy for us, not to mention we're in the middle of several different projects around the house which leaves me with little time to do much of anything else. Unfortunately the blog has suffered but hopefully now with school out and Biggest Loser and American Idol over with (yes, I'm a little obsessed with those shows ;) I'll have more time to blog. I haven't been picking up my big camera as much lately since I got my new point & shoot for Mother's Day. It feels good not to have to lug that big thing everywhere but I took it along this evening to the park and it felt good to get some good pictures of the girls again. Maybe I just needed a lil break from the constant manual shooting. I love that Brandon takes a ton of pictures and videos now too. He likes using the point & shoot (even though its pink...lol) and I like not being the only one that takes pictures. We took the girls to 2 different parks tonight and Brandon used the point & shoot at the first park and I took my big camera to the second park. It was nice to just play with the girls and enjoy them without having the camera stuck in my face and even better that I knew pictures were still being taken =) The battery died in the p&s though so I will have to share those pictures tomorrow.
Anway...I'm rambling...jeez. Sorry ;-)
This girl was lovin the camera today! I sure didn't complain either!!
Notice Kinsley in the background in this one?
This girl, however, RUNS from the camera. I was following her around, trying to get any kind of picture that I could without it being just a complete blur (from her running) and she was having none of it. She would scream "NO CAMERA!" and run and hide from me. *sigh*
I think this one here is going to be a climber like her sister. She climbed up the slide more than she slid down.
Another good one! And she posed herself! =)
Love the excitement on her face :)
And another...
I even managed to squeek one out of him! Yay! Love how it turned out! :)
I'm hoping to get back to my regular blogging. June is going to be another busy month. Just keeping up with everything Aliyah is doing is a job itself. She's got softball games, Girl Scout Day Camp, and I can't even think of everything else she has going on. And Kinsley turnes THREE this month and she is SOOOO excited! She asks every single day if we are going to her tractor birthday party yet. A few weeks seems like eternity to a lil girl. We are celebrating with pool/bounce house party with a pink John Deere theme and she is beyond thrilled! At least I should have plenty to blog about, right?
