Soooo...I got on here about an hour ago to finally update my blog with some pictures and instead I got sidetracked. When I opened Explorer, there was a red Breaking News bar across the top of the msn homepage stating that the President would be addressing the nation soon and the subject was unknown. I knew whatever the subject may be, it had to be HUGE! The President addressing the nation at nearly midnight (at the White House) on a Sunday night doesn't happen often. Ok, more like never. Of course, I kind of freaked out b/c that's what I do ;). I mentioned it to Brandon. He was watching the UFC preliminary fights on DVR. He immediately turned the channel to the news station to find out what was going on. We quickly learned that Osama bin Laden had been caught and killed and the US has possession of his body!!!!! I'd say that is HUGE!! Totally surreal. Extremely historical moment for America. One of those moments where you will never forget where you were, what you were doing, and how you found out. Of course, this is amazing news but it's also very scary. Who knows what this will mean for US troops that are over there, or here in the US for that matter. I really hope that there aren't a bunch of pissed off Osama fans overseas plotting another terroist attack on the US...I guess time will tell.
