I apologize for not updating yesterday on the pregnancy. It was so nice outside yesterday, we ended up spending the rest of the day outside getting some much needed fresh air.
I had my 3D ultrasound as well as 30 week check-up yesterday morning. I'm sad to say that I don't have any ultrasound pictures to share. Little Miss Baby (we have yet to decide on a name) did not want to cooperate. She was either laying the wrong way, had her hands in front of her face, or the cord was too close to her face. We decided that we would try again next week to see if she will cooperate then, so cross your fingers. We did notice that her face is quite chubby and her lips are rather full. Aliyah was 9 lb 7 oz and 1 week early. I was really hoping to have a smaller baby this time but by the looks of her chubby little face yesterday, looks like another chubster is on the way ;) I did tell my doctor and he said that he will start monitoring the baby's weight at 37 weeks and if need be, he will induce a little sooner than normal to avoid her being too big. I was pretty excited about that. I've gained 20 lbs exactly so far and I will be 31 weeks tomorrow so I suppose that's not too bad. The only big ache I've been having is in my right rib. It hurts something fierce. Other than that, everything is going really well so I guess I can't complain too much.
I do have a new picture of the ever-expanding belly. Brandon took this the other day and I am less-than-thrilled with how my face is looking. I wasn't even going to post this but decided to anyway. I'm pretty sure it will be the last picture of my belly with my face in it. Next time will be belly only.

Finally got the circus pictures on the ole computer. I wasn't going to post so many but couldn't decide which ones to share and which ones not to so I just decided to post all my favorites. Brandon took some of these and I'm not even sure who took what. Some were taken in auto and some manual. I think it depended on who had the camera ;)
Aliyah really like these doggies. They were pretty cute and they did some cute stuff.

They said this kid was 12 years old and look at him! A handstand that high in the air. Not something you will ever see me do. He's one brave kid!!

I wouldn't be doing this either.

I'm really glad they put these big kitties in a cage b/c they scared me. The tiger on the left was not wanting to cooperate with the guy and I was really afraid for him. Luckily nothing bad happened.

Aliyah says her favorite part was the elephants. Good thing b/c she used to be terrified of those rather huge creatures.

This act was cool but again I was scared for those guys. One of them actually almost fell once when he was jump roping as the wheel thing was going around. I just can't believe these people have the guts to do that stuff that high in the air.

They called these guys the Black Angels and they did some pretty fun stuff throughout the show. I think they came out 3 or 4 different times. There are 5 of them and one even had pigtails in :)

Other than the clowns, Aliyah had a blast. She would clap and get so excited over the littlest stuff. I'm really glad she enjoyed it so much this time.
Some funny quotes from Miss Aliyah tonight:
We were at Brandon's parents house tonight and Aliyah wanted to stay the night there. Brandon asked her if she would miss him and she said "no." She decided she didn't want to stay after all so when we were leaving Brandon asked her again if she would have missed him. This is how it went:
Brandon: "are you sure you wouldn't miss Daddy if you would have stayed?"
Aliyah: "oh, of course!"
Brandon: "of course what?"
Aliyah: "of course I would have missed you!"
Brandon: *about to jump with joy* "Awww, that's so sweet of you!! I'm glad you would miss me! Give me a pound." (a pound is a closed fist handshake kind of thing, in case you didn't know)
Aliyah: *in a real serious, quiet voice* "no, I don't want to"
and Daddy gets let down again...
Sorry, that was probably funnier in person ;)
Then we were in the drive thru at DQ b/c Aliyah had to have an ice cream cone and she starts getting an attitude with Brandon. I don't even remember the conversation or what it was about but he asked her where she got her attitude from. She replied with "Uh, I don't know. I probably get my attitude from that Stop Sign!"
Uh, what? A stop sign out of all things? She's one crazy girl!
You probably had to be there to hear the sarcasm in her voice. I promise it was pretty funny.
Ok, that's all I have tonight. Again, sorry for the extremely long post tonight. Had to get all caught up.
