It's Our Baby!!

I had my second 3D ultrasound yesterday and baby finally decided to cooperate!! She still had her hands up by her face, as always, but she was laying the right way to see her face. She was moving quite a bit so that made it fun as well. I decided to take Aliyah with us yesterday b/c I felt like we were leaving her out of all the doctors appointments. She doesn't like to go b/c the sound of the heartbeat freaks her out something awful. I was just going for the ultrasound yesterday so I thought it would be a good chance to take her. I asked her a million times if she wanted to go (I didn't want to force her) and I explained what was going to happen and she was ok with it. We got to the doctors office and she started saying she wanted to go home, before we even got called back...lol. We got back to the room and she put her hands over her ears and kept saying "I wanna go home, I wanna go home!!" The ultrasound lady was very good with her and explained everything and once the baby came up on the screen, she was fine. I was glad we took her and she actually thought it was cool. She got to take the pictures to Daddy's work and show everyone there, which made her proud :).

Here are the 2 pictures we got. I wanted the first one b/c she is sticking her little tongue out at us ;). She's already lookin' pretty chubby. Daddy says we have another 10 pounder on the way. Boy, am I hoping he is wrong!! I think she definitly has Miss Aliyah's nose. The detail of these pictures just blows me away. I love it!! They didn't scan as good as I thought they would. I probaby could have re-scanned them but I wanted to get them posted, so I didn't mess with it. Oh, the big blob up by her face is her hand.





I didn't get these posted yesterday b/c baby's room is finally getting done!! That room used to be the computer/play room and therefore the internet connection was in there and Brandon had it all disconnected yesterday. Baby's room is going to be pink and brown and I can't wait til it's all done and I can share some pictures!!

I apologize for not posting the last week. I have been busy going through all of Aliyah's baby clothes that I saved. Half of them got yellow spots all over them, which I have no idea how they got there. None of them were stained when I put them away and I stored them in plastic totes. So I spent almost 3 days soaking, washing, folding, hanging, organinzing, and putting away baby clothes. And I still haven't felt like picking up my camera lately. Now that I think of it, I don't think I've taken a single picture since last week...how sad! I felt like this in the beginning of my pregnancy as well. Maybe I will just have to force myself to get the camera out today.
