Each and every morning, Kinsley wakes up with the biggest smiles ever. She is so happy and just full of smiles. I love it! Definitly makes waking up the best of the day...especially for this mommy who is not a morning girl ;) I tried to get all her smiles on camera the other day but every time she smiled, she would turn her head so this is the best shot that I got. Still cute!

Something that I have not blogged about yet is the fact that Kinsley is not a binky baby. This shocks me. I never imagined that I would have a baby that was not-so-interested in a binky. Miss Aliyah had a binky until a few months after she turned 3! Yes, three-years-old. There was just no giving that thing up for her. I actually read in a parenting magazine not to even try taking a binky away until 3, so that's what I did. And when it was time, we made it really special. We had her write a letter to the "binky fairy" and we left it on the kitchen table that night and the binky fairy left her several little presents in return. And she never asked for it again.
Anyway, back to Kinsley. She prefers her fingers much more than a binky. And I'm really afraid that if she finds her thumb, she will become a thumbsucker. I really don't want that to happen b/c unlike a binky, you cannot take a thumb away and I have seen some kids with some major damage to their teeth due to thumbsucking. I still offer her a binky every now and then and she will take it occasionally but she's just not that interested it.
Here she is sucking on her fingers during her bath Tuesday night. I just love them chubby little hands, arms, and cheeks.

That same night, after her bath she was playing the Bumbo. When I lifted her out and sat her on my lap, I felt something wet on my arm. Her diaper had exploded and it was EVERYWHERE. All down her leg, in the Bumbo, all over me, just everywhere! It was so bad she had to have another bath. Instead of filling up her tub again, I just decided to dunk her in the sink. Daddy decided to take some pictures. I'm surprised he didn't grab the camera earlier to get pictures of the poop that was everywhere.
Here she is in the sink. Look at that awesome eye contact! Woohoo! And there's those fingers in her mouth...once again.

I liked it in color and b&w so you get both =)

When Aliyah woke up Tuesday morning, she wanted to hold Kinsley. And then she wanted me to take their picture. Anytime I hear the words "take a picture" out of Aliyah's mouth, I run to get the camera and I happily oblige. I don't hear that very often at all. I just love how the pictures turned out. Aliyah's messy hair, Kinsley's funny looks, pj's and all. It's just them. Nothing special and I love 'em to pieces! I couldn't decide which ones to post so I went to throw several of them in a collage and I ended up with this. I like it so much, I'm gonna print it =)

loving the expression in the one of her in the sink! Great composition too.
Wow, that tub one has amazing eye contact! These are all adorable. The storyboard is so cute, especially the shot with Kinsley's tongue sticking out.
She is SO precious! OMG. I am NOT a morning person either, but waking up to that smile every morning would be enough to make me get up extra early! What a doll baby. I love your storyboard too! :)
Awwwww - what a sweet baby!!! Love both the color and b&w pics!! And that last storyboard - love it!!
Awwww so sweet. She is beautiful. Love the storyboard with both girls.
