Good Times

My oldest brother and his family came to our house for lunch on Sunday. Aliyah was so excited to play with her cousins. Her and my niece, Jadyn are almost exactly 9 months apart with Aliyah being the older one and they play so well together. All 3 of them had so much fun playing.

I was determined to get a picture of all 4 of them together, even if it is a snapshot. I'm pretty sure we never even got a picture of the 3 of them before Kinsley was born. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out =)


Miss Aliyah starts school in the morning. I'm nervous. Not sure why. She's totally excited. Oh, I win the worst-mommy-of-the-year award. I was getting Aliyah's clothes out for tomorrow, making sure everything is ready to go so we hopefully have a smooth morning. Then I realized I FORGOT TO BUY HER A BACKPACK! DUH!! I was so worried about getting her new school clothes and shoes that I completely forgot the backpack. She doesn't have to have any supplies, just a backpack and I forgot that one very important thing. Go me. So I sent Daddy to Wal-Mart after I put Aliyah to bed to buy her a backpack. He found a really cute High School Musical one and I think she's going to be thrilled with it when she sees it in the morning.
