shots

Kinsley had an appointment to get her 1-year shots today. Since Aliyah has to have shots for kindergarten, I called to see if she could get her shots today at the same time as Kinsley. It worked out and they both got 4 shots each today. Aliyah did great. I was really worried about her, but she didn't even cry!! Kinsley didn't cry until the very last shot and it wasn't enough that food couldn't help ;) I was relieved to say the least. They both did WAY better than I thought. The bad part about these shots is going to be waiting to see if any symptoms show up. They both got the chicken pox shot, which Aliyah has already had once, but obviously Kinsley has not. Apparently they could get the chicken pox within the next 30 days... Yeah, lets pray they don't!! Wouldn't that just be great?!

One of Kinsley's bandaids =( Poor girl. I love her chubby little legs! She weighs 26 lbs 8 oz, which is still 3 lines above the 100th percentile on the growth chart! She's also tall for her age so at least she is proportionate. Our doctor gave me some diet guidelines for her. Nice, huh? I'm not that worried about her. Aliyah was chubby just like Kinsley and not she's a stick now. I'm still going to watch what Kinsley eats, but mainly b/c junk isn't good for her anyway.

Another funny expression. She wasn't too happy with me in this one and you can tell. Do you think she was thinking "do you HAVE to get that thing out right now? I'm pretty cranky if you couldn't tell!" LOL!!

I tried to get a picture of Aliyah today with her bandaids on each arm but she wanted nothing to do with the camera so I didn't push it.
