broken...

My van. It's broken. I'm sad. But hopefully it will be fixed in the morning...
Since I know y'all are wondering what happened, here's the story. We got home from Walmart this evening and Brandon just HAD to go out and play with his weed eater. (It's his early father's day present.) As soon as he carried all the bags in, he went outside to play. Aliyah and I were putting everything away and I heard something shatter. I didn't think anything of it. Brandon came inside to get me a couple minutes later. I followed him outside and he pointed to the ground. I look down and see a pile of black glass on the ground. Then I look up and saw that the window had shattered. My first response was to scream and freak out the hubs. But since I knew it was an accident, I kept my cool. I came back inside and I immediately called our insurance agent, who thankfully is also a good friend. I had to find out how much it was going to cost us to fix or I knew I wouldn't be sleeping tonight. Our agent gave me the 24 hour claim number to call and gave me some good news. Our comprehensive deductible is only $250. WAY better than $1000, which is what I thought it was going to be. So I called the claim number and the first question the lady asked me was, "do you have a glass claim to make this evening?" Well, as a matter of fact, yes I do. So she asked me what happened and several other questions and then I heard her say, "ok, you have a $0 glass deductible and a local glass repair company should call you by 10:00 am tomorrow to fix it." I replied with, "um, excuse me, did you just say ZERO dollar deductible?!" and she assured me that she did, in fact just say that. I called our agent back and told him what the lady had said. I wanted to be sure she was right. Come to find out, we opted for the $0 glass deductible when we signed up with him just last December. Woohoo!!!!! So we should have a new window (hopefully tomorrow) for FREE!!!!
All I can say is boy am I glad we switched insurance companies last December. Because I can gaurantee it would not have been such an easy claim or FREE if we still had Farmers. We now have Country and thank the good Lord!! Oh, and I can sleep tonight :)
