It was an awesome ceremony. The teachers did a great job!! I found out later that their goal was to make parents and grandparents cry. Goal accomplished. I know several parents were crying. I wasn't the only one.
Of course I took a million pictures.
The Welcome table. I love their sign. If you can't read it, it says "Welcome to our Spring Sing and Graduation 2009" Aliyah's handprints are the yellow ones. The blue cards with handprints were the programs with a poem on the front. Soooo cute!! The teachers also wrote a poem to the parents about the kids. I could not read it there. I read it later here at home and cried....again.

They sang several songs, which were all very cute! This one was the Farmer in the Dell. Mrs. Vance was the cheese that stood alone =)
Then they sang "She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain" which the kids had so much fun with. They each got sticks to beat together while they marched around the room. This little guy is such a funny character. He is always making everyone laugh. I didn't realize I got this picture until I was viewing them on the computer. So funny!!

Pretty girl at intermission.

Then they all walked in with caps and gowns on...

They sang a cute little graduation song and recited a poem. Aren't they just adorable?!!

Aliyah getting her diploma and certificate. Each student got a certificate for something different. Aliyah got class gymnast for all her tumbling stunts ;) They told everyone their full name, how old they are, what they want to be when they grow up, and what they thank God for. Aliyah wants to be a ballerina when she grows up and she's thankful for her dog =) Brandon was sad. He thought she was thankful for him, or at least her parents ;)

Dear Aliyah - Mommy and Daddy are so very proud of you! We can't believe how fast you have grown up. You have had so much fun in preschool. You have learned so many new things, experienced new things, made new friends, and just enjoyed being a big girl. We are so sad that you will be in kindergarten in just a few months already. You have grown up WAY too fast!! But we love you and the little girl that you have become. We hope that you enjoy being in kindergarten and that you continue to learn and enjoy school. We just want you to be happy, be kind to others, and do your best. Good luck Princess! We love you!!!
