It feels so good to finally be able to update on here. I've missed blogging terribly! It's been a lloooonnnnggggg past couple of months. First, my laptop goes down and all the drama with trying to figure out what was wrong and finally dealing with the computer repair place and our insurance company. Once again, our insurance company is great. Wish I could say that for the computer repair place, but I just can't. Dealing with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. I've blogged/vented about it some but tonight I went to get my laptop back so my FIL could get the data off the old laptop (again, I have unsaved pictures of my girls on there I HAVE to have) to put on my new laptop that finally came in the mail today =). First, the 2 guys there couldn't find my laptop. Not their fault and really it wasn't a big deal. They did end up finding it and I was on my merry way. Everything was fine until I got to the in-laws and Brandon went to pull the harddrive out of the laptop and it was MISSING!! Not there! GONE! And they gave me the wrong power cord, which again wasn't such a big deal but seriously the harddrive not in there? That just PISSES me off to no end!! We immediately drove back up to the store and no one was there. If I go in there tomorrow morning and I don't walk out with MY harddrive, there just might be WWIII. I am just FURIOUS over the harddrive being gone and there better be some great explanation as to why it is not in there! I don't even want to think about the possibly that they could have lost it. We just won't go there...
Back to the last couple of months....shortly after my last post, the other TWO computers in our house decided to quit working as well. So, we have been without a computer for a good month now. Do you know how hard that is after you are so used to having the internet at your fingertips? It's hard. Especially when you do everything such as banking, paying bills online, etc. Our desktop is getting stuck when it's starting up and Brandon's laptop won't charge. The thingy where you plug in the charger is broke. 3 computers in our house and they all break at the same darn time. That's our luck. They say bad things come in 3's...
On a much different note - if you hadn't noticed, I update my little biography. In case you missed it, we're expecting baby #3 in March =). More on that later...
For now, I'm off to PRAY that my harddrive will be safe in my hands tomorrow morning and I will get all my data back...
