Ugh....

I'm beyond MAD about my computer!! I've been without it for about a month now and I'm starting to officially go crazy! I can't do anything photography related. I can't upload any photos of my girls, I can't proof any sessions that I've had, which leaves people waiting on me, which I HATE, I can't get any of the marketing stuff printed that I've been working on, I can't print any of Kinsley's 1 year pictures (that I'm already WAY behind on), and the list goes on. The worst part about it all is that I actually have time to do all this now with Aliyah in school and Kinsley napping in the morning. I've tried to download trial versions of photoshop on both of our other computers and it doesn't work. I've tried and tried and tried again to no avail. I'm beyond frustrated! Our insurance is finally working with us and being polite about it all. I took the laptop to a local computer business for them to look at it and fix it if possible. They've had it for over a week now and all they can tell me is the computer is done. It won't turn on, so its done for. But they can't tell me what's wrong with it b/c they haven't even taken it apart yet!! UGH!! HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO TAKE A LAPTOP APART????? I realize they are busy and they have other computers to fix but at least tell me that it's going to be *this* long before we get to it instead of "we'll look at it tomorrow and give you a call." Yeah, that was a week ago!! Then I call today at 2:00 in the afternoon and I'm told that so-and-so is busy but he'll call me right back. At 7:30 tonight, I still hadn't heard from him, so I went up there. He didn't look happy to see me and I wasn't happy to be there but I was assertive (thanks Steph for the pep talk ;) and I told him I needed something done ASAP! I have people waiting on me and if you can't get this done, then I will need to go somewhere else. He assured me that the guy would get to it tonight and they would let me know tomorrow what's going on. We'll see if they keep their word this time. If not, they probably won't like me anymore!
