Happy Belated Bday Granny!!

My family celebrated our Granny's 78th birthday at the beginning of September. The whole family got together and took Granny out to eat. We had cake and ice cream and just visited with one another. Something my family doesn't do nearly enough anymore due to everyone being so busy. I'll spare you the horrible details of our restaurant experience that night. It was not a good one and I'll leave it at that. Quite possibly the worst I've ever had...

Before we went out to eat, we went to Granny's house early so our kids and my brother's kids could play together for awhile. They don't get to see each other nearly enough since they live 2 hours away. My Granny got 3 sets of used power wheels for the kiddos to play with and they had a blast. I got this funny pic of Kinsley trying to get in the jeep with Jadyn. Love the look on Jadyn's face! I wish I knew what she was thinking ;)

The guy that took the picture for us said something really funny...lol. My brother (the bald one in the middle) NEVER smiles for pictures (see above shot) and I love that he is laughing in this one!

The next day was Labor Day so we packed up the girls and headed to watch the Labor Day parade with the fam. Here is my ridiculous try at getting a pic of the 4 cousins. Love Logan's smile and Aliyah's cool shades. Notice how Kinsley wanted NOTHING to do with sitting for even a milisecond.


She was MUCH happier tucked away safely in her stroller with a sucker that she enjoyed for the entire length of the parade. Love how my Granny is leaning over smiling at her ;).

Notice the sucker all over her nose going up above her eye? Yeah, she was pretty much covered in red and green sucker but boy did she enjoy it.
