I love evenings like this...

These pictures are not from today. They are from an evening last week. I love evenings where we have supper at home, clean the kitchen, clean the kiddos (Kinsley had to have a bath after supper, which is why she has her jammies on already ;), and then just hang out. We built lots of towers on this evening, played some Wii, played board games, tickled one another, and laughed a lot. This is what families are made of. Those relaxed, special evenings together at home =).

The girls and I built this tower together. Of course it didn't last long. Towers don't last long at all in our house ;)


Then, Aliyah set to work building her own tower...


Kinsley wanted to help...


But instead, she accidently knocked it over =( Aliyah got upset and this was K's reaction. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the look on her face in this one ;) She looks sad, but yet very guilty.


Got a quick snap of Miss Aliyah... I love how her hair gets all messy in the front after a long day at school ;)


Aliyah attempted yet another castle....with the help of her baby sister ;) Notice Aliyah holding on to the tower so Kinsley wouldn't knock it over...


Poor Aliyah! Kinsley managed to knock it over anyway.


Meanwhile, Daddy was bowling on the Wii....pretty oblivious to all the towers getting knocked over.

I tried to get a close up of Kinsley but all I got was ignored. I would move in front of her and she would just turn her head the other way w/out a blink.


3rd tower attempt. 3rd times a charm, right?


Aliyah got up to go get something from the other room and Kinsley noticed right away that her tower was left unsupervised. I love the guilty look on her face. "I'm just gonna touch it..."


"Noone will notice me if I act slyly...


"Uh oh!! It's falling! Maybe I can catch it!" LOL

Aliyah didn't try to build another tower but it was still a great evening!
