1. I miss blogging. I really do. I just have a million small projects going on right now and can't find the time to blog. I think I need to learn to manage my time better...
2. Aliyah has had a 104 fever since Saturday. I really just thought it was a virus and that it would go away on it's own. She woke up this morning burning up again and something told me to take her to the Dr, so I listened. Darn good thing I listened! Turns out she has PNEUMONIA!! Uh, yeah, wasn't expecting that! Poor girl!
3. The worst part about Aliyah being sick is her missing school. She really hates to miss school, but especially tomorrow. She's going to miss her Kindergarten field trip to the zoo =( I feel horrible, almost sick to my stomach that she is going to miss it. The look on her face was just so sad when the Dr said she couldn't go back to school until she is fever free for 24 hours and that she wouldn't be able to go to the zoo.
4. I about lost my sanity this past weekend. Aliyah was sick, which means she was extremely needy (rightfully so). Kinsley was just tearing the house apart and Emersyn didn't want to be put down for longer than 2 seconds or she was screaming her head off. Brandon worked in the basement on Sat which means I had no help from him. If it weren't for my sisters coming over to help me, I'm pretty sure I would have lost my sanity.
5. I hate Mother's Day. It's an awful day every year. And that's all I'm going to say about that.
6. Kinsley has had a language explosion lately. It's so funny to hear her talk in full, complete sentences after hearing her babble for so long. My new favorite sentence of hers is "what did you do?"
7. She learned that sentence from me. Almost every morning and after nap, I walk in Kinsley's room to find some kind of huge mess. All the books off the shelf, all the clothes out of the drawers, lotion everywhere, or toys scattered. You're thinking why don't I babyproof her room and put things out of her reach? Well you see babyproofing is not Kinsleyproof. And I'm not kidding. We have put 2 different kinds of drawer latches on the drawers and she can undo both. I put things up high and she finds a way to reach them. The higher off the ground, the better for her. So when I walk in to find a mess I say "what did you do?!" and now I don't have to say it anymore. I open her door and she says it automatically...lol!
8. Today after nap, I walked in Kinsley's room to find her standing on TOP of her dresser! She climbed the dresser and made a mess of everything on top of it. She says "what did you do?!" and then reaches her arms out and says "I hold you" so I will get her down. I love it when she says "I hold you" =)
9. I ordered a bunch of marketing materials for my photography and got it all yesterday. I was pretty excited! Now I just need to start passing stuff out.
10. Well I can't think of anything else so Good Night!
