7 weeks and a new prop

Emersyn is 7 weeks today. It's truly amazing how much they change in so little time. I hope I don't jinx myself by saying this but she has been SO much better lately. She hasn't cried much at all the last few days. I'm hoping we are over all that fussiness.

Since Spring has sprung, I have had a whole new wave of creativeness. I've had several sessions lately and I have a few more this week. Ideas randomly pop in my head and then I get super excited and I want to try them out right now. Of course, I usually have to wait but it's still exciting. I also love finding new props to use. The other day we were at my in-laws and they have saved several toys from when Brandon and his brother were little so they have all kinds of cool vintage toys. We were all playing outside when Kinsley found an old pedal tractor to ride on. I had a session with an 18-month-old little boy yesterday evening and it was the perfect prop! Then yesterday I scheduled a session with a 6-month-old little girl for tomorrow night and all of sudden I remembered that I had a wooden bench that would be perfect for her session. The bench was still at my mom's house so I called her to make sure she still had it and I went and picked it up this morning. I am SO ecstatic! Free props are the BEST! Of course I had to try out my new prop with Emersyn but she was not a fan. This was the only one of her not screaming.
