Aliyah's Tumbling Recital

The big recital was last night. Brandon and I were both shocked by how well Aliyah did. I wasn't sure how she would do performing in front of all those people, but it didn't bother her one bit. I'm not sure where those genes came from. We just might have a natural entertainer on our hands ;) Sadly, none of the pictures that I took turned out. Gym lighting is the worse. I usually manage a few good ones in a gym but of course not last night. We took the video camera and Brandon was recording Aliyah performing when the tape ended. Therefore we didn't get her whole performance. I'm pretty bummed about that! She was hilarious and I wish we had the whole thing on tape. We do have a few minutes of her performing so I wanted to share. She kept stopping to wave at us and she sure did strut her stuff while walking out. I think she got a little confused as to where she was supposed to stand. The whole recital was just cute and all the kids did great. Too bad the gym was scorching hot and bleachers are never comfortable, especially when you have a ginormous belly. Other than that, it was a great night!
