Big Sister Aliyah finally gets to meet her baby sister. Aliyah got to the hospital the morning after Kinsley was born. She walked in all shy and quiet, which is totally not Aliyah. I don't think she quite knew what to think. She sure was happy and thrilled to hold her baby sister. It didn't take her long to warm up. I think she was quiet for about an hour and then she was herself again. She did not want to leave the hospital that entire day. Brandon's mom kept trying to take her to McDonalds for lunch and to let her play in the playplace but she didn't want to go. Brandon and his mom finally convinced her to go after about 2 hours. Once she got back though, she didn't leave again until almost 9:00 that night. She really wanted to stay the night at the hospital with us and she didn't understand why she couldn't. It made me really sad to send her home that night :(
Doesn't she look proud!

Look at those feet!! Kinsley inherited her Daddy's feet...really long and skinny. Everyone has commented on how big her feet are. She has skinny long fingers as well but we're not sure where she got those from. I knew her feet were big b/c I could feel those puppies inside me and when she stretched out, those little boogers would stab me in the right side.

This was taken Thursday shortly before we came home.

A huge congratulations!! What beautiful girls-- and amazing eye contact you've got on that little babe. Hope you have a chance to rest and soak up some baby sugar!

Congratulations! Kinsley is absolutely beautiful! Aliyah looks like a wonderful big sister.
Aliyah is an awesome big sis! She doesn't look jealous at all, that is amazing. Kinsley is just a little doll-baby too.
Congratulations! What a beautiful pair.
