A HUGE thanks to Aunt Cinny!!!!

Aliyah was completely excited today when we checked the mail and found 2 packages sitting outside our door. One for her and one for her baby sister. They were from my awesome friend Cindy. If you don't know who she is, check out this post. She sent Aliyah an adorable little Newborn Cabbage Patch baby doll that smells SOOO good. She smells like baby powder ;) Isn't she just cute? She drinks from her bottle and wets her diaper. Her diaper turns yellow when it she wets it. Funny, huh?

Horrible picture but I'm lucky I got her to look at me. She was way too busy playing with her new baby to stop for a picture.

If you noticed the bloody scratch right under her nose, its from Kadi (our dog). They were playing last night and Kadi got Aliyah right under the nose with her toe nail.

As I mentioned, baby sister also got a package from Aunt Cinny! Baby got a purple dress (Mommy's favorite color and Cindy knows that ;) 2 pairs of shoes, pack of 3 white Old Navy onesies, pack of 3 pink Old Navy onesises, and a cute little cardigan jacket from Old Navy. Cute stuff huh?!

Thanks a whole bunches Aunt Cinny!!! We really appreciate the gifts for the girls (wow that seems weird...I typed girls, as in plural ;) I wish I would have gotten some pictures of Aliyah ripping into the packages (she opened both, of course) but she didn't waste any time and I had no time to grab the camera. Aliyah LOVES her new baby and carried it everywhere today!

Baby Update: I had some pretty intense pain over the weekend. I guess the pain is Braxton Hicks contractions. As I've already posted here, I've been having these for over 2 weeks now. Well now the more they happen, the more intense and painful they get. I debated wether or not to call my doctor Monday morning. I have an appointment with him on Friday so I couldn't decide if I should just wait or call and let him know. Brandon wanted me to call so I did. I talked to the nurse and she thought I should go straight to OB at the hospital so they could hook me all up to see if I was contracting or not. So I went. I was there for about an hour and I had 1 contraction. The nurse did check me and good news....I was dilated 2cm and 50% effaced. I was pretty excited to hear that. I don't mind the pain as long as it's doing something. If I hadn't been dilated, I would have been really worried. Monday night, I had 3 more hours of painful contractions so I'm hoping I'm more than 2 cm now. Hopefully I will find out Friday. I'm pretty sure my doctor will check me. The nurse in OB seemed to think I would be going into labor soon but I'm still pregnant. I will be 37 weeks on Friday.
