reason for my lack of blogging

I actually have a reason for why I have not blogged for several days.

Here is it...

Those are the invitations to my friend's bridal shower. I am a bridesmaid and Aliyah is the flower girl for my friend, Cindy's wedding. Cindy and Jordan are getting married in May in Destin, Florida on the beach. My bridesmaid duty was the shower invitations. I think they turned out really cute but man those suckers took me 3 days to make. I was trying to stay with the whole beach theme and this is what I came up with. The theme of her shower is "Flip flops and Margaritas." The cake is going to be really cute but I can't give details since Cindy is a blog reader ;)

I had to share this of Kinsley. She was in no mood to look at the camera last night. To me, this look says "you can get that thing out of my face anytime now b/c I'm NOT looking at you!" Stinker.


Is anyone else as excited as I am for Daylight Savings Time?! I'm SUPER excited! More hours of light in a day, warmer weather, Spring, warmer weather, outside, warmer weather, evening walks, oh and did I mention warmer weather? ;) I am SICK of cold weather!!!! It is supposed to be warm tomorrow though, as long as those crazy weather aren't lying to us....
