But man has she been giving us trouble lately. She is in some kind of trouble about 95% of the time. Mostly for not listening to anything we ask of her or tell her to do, such as the toy situation mentioned in yesterdays post. I would have expected this kind of behavior from her almost 9 months ago, after Kinsley was born. But now? No. It seems like since she turned 5 years old, we have a teenager living in the house instead of a sweet, little 5-year-old. She talks back, does what she wants, when she wants, how she wants to do it, and deliberately does the opposite of what we tell her. Someone please tell me this is only a phase!? I had a little chat with her last night and today was better but I'm not so sure it's going to last. Maybe she's getting cabin fever but I don't remember her ever acting like this in previous years. I just want my sweet girl back.
I was trying to get a picture of Kinsley's chubby little hands sticking food in her mouth but I was too slow. She always uses her finger and thumb now and I think it's adorable. You can see her left hand in the pincer grasp position. Don't you love the look on her face...lol.

Just another one of them big 'ole blue eyes.
