Sleep, glorious sleep!

She did it!!  She slept through the night for the very FIRST time!!!  And I am one happy Momma!!!

I posted this on FB as well.  I really hope I'm not jinxing myself by putting this news out there for the whole world to see.  But it's a HUGE accomplishment and even if it doesn't continue, this milestone needs to be recorded, right? 

She went from waking up 3 to 4 times a night (yes, you read that right THREE to FOURS times)  to sleeping through the night in only 2 nights.  Wednesday night she only woke up once, then slept all night last night.  While this is awesome, it's not good for the 'ole boobs.  I wake up sore and about ready to burst!  You are supposed to slowly wean a baby from nursing and any sudden stoppage can cause some major discomfort for the momma.  But hey, I'm not complaining.  Nope, not one bit!  I'll take the full nights of sleep thankyouverymuch!

Sadly though, she is growing up way too fast.  Just in the last week she has learned how to wave and I have finally found a cup that she will drink out of!!  That's another huge accomplishment b/c up to this point, she would only drink from me.  I tried every sippy cup we have and then bought 2 more and she still wouldn't drink more than a tiny dribble.  She figured out how to drink out of a regular straw about a month ago so it finally occured to me to get her a spill proof cup with a straw.  DUH!!
