Candyland

Candyland is currently Aliyah's favorite game. If a day goes by that we don't play it, I consider myself lucky :) Mommy confession: I HATE Candyland!!!! I don't really know that I ever liked the game when I was little. I don't think I did. However, Aliyah loves it so I try to be a good Mommy and play with her as much as I possibly can. We usually end up playing it several times in a row when we do play. Since it is her favorite game I decided to take some pictures while we were playing yesterday. I did learn that Candyland isn't all that bad when you have a camera in your hands ;) Aliyah didn't like that I was taking pictures though...she told me to put my camera away and "Stop taking pictures Mom!!!" I did put my camera down but had to pick it back up a couple minutes later when she got her favorite card (see last photo). So here are just a couple snaps of us playing Candyland.

Hope everyone has a great Valentine's Day tomorrow. Aliyah and I are going to make pink and red heart shaped rice krispies treats in the morning and then deliver them to family and friends tomorrow evening. I plan to take lots of pictures tomorrow so hopefully I'll have some good ones to share tomorrow night.
