Happy 4th Birthday Aliyah!!

Should have posted these on Aliyah's birthday but I'm behind...story of my life ;)

We had a small party at our house the night of Aliyah's birthday. Just the grandparents and my 2 sisters...just something to celebrate on her actual birthday. I asked her if she wanted me to buy another cake or if she wanted to bake a cake and decorate it ourselves. Aliyah LOVES to bake so I wasn't surprised when she said she wanted to bake one. I didn't complain much, it's cheaper and I love cheap :) I wrote on her cake and then let her decorate it however she wanted. She had fun and I thought she did a pretty good job.

Look at the concentration on that face...takes a lot to decorate a cake, ya know.

Opening presents once again...her favorite part :)

Playing a new game with Daddy. Aliyah doesn't quite get the concept of this game. You're not supposed to knock all the ice down but she thinks that's exactly what your supposed to do.

Playing another new game with her 2 aunts (my 2 sisters). She got several new games for her birthday which I was secretly excited about myself b/c as you all already know, I'm quite sick of Candyland. We've had fun playing a variety of new games over the last week.

Singin' with her new piano and microphone. I love that little embarrased grin on her face ;) The girl LOVES to sing though and boy has she given that microphone quite the workout already!

I take a picture of Aliyah with all her new stuff every Christmas and birthday. I just think it will be neat for her to see what all she got each year. So here is the picture with all her new stuff from her 4th birthday. You can't see everything but I try to get as much as I can in the picture.

That ended Ms. Aliyah's 4th birthday. I wanted it to be a little special since this is her last birthday as an only child...hopefully I succeeded.
