snack time and valentines

I put Kinsley in her highchair today to play with some toys while I got Aliyah a snack. I handed Aliyah a graham cracker and I wasn't really paying much attention to Kinsley until she started crying and I realized that she thought the graham cracker was for her and when big sister got the cracker instead, she was NOT happy about it. So she got one too and here she is enjoying that yummy graham cracker ;)

Here are Aliyah's valentines for school. I was actually done with them yesterday, which I was very pleased with myself b/c normally I am a procrastinator and would probably still be putting them together instead of blogging at this very moment. But go me, I got something done early. Aliyah is very excited about her valentine party at school tomorrow. I'm pretty excited too b/c I get to go to school with her and stay the whole time. I haven't been able to do that yet. She's looking forward to having Mommy with her as well. You can bet I'll be taking my camera so I should have some pictures to share tomorrow.

Her valentine card is actually a bookmark. I didn't come up with the idea myself (although I wish I had). I printed them at Walmart (which I don't normally do but it was ok for this purpose), taped them to cardstock and laminated them. Punched a hole in the top and tied some ribbon. I think they turned out pretty cute! In case you're wondering, the top of them says "Be Mine in '09".
