spoke too soon

Do you ever say something and then it comes back to bite you in the behind? I do. I was just bragging to someone the other day how we have all managed to dodge the stomach flu this winter. Not one of us had had it yet....until Monday. As I wrote Monday, Miss K was sick and throwing up all day. She slept pretty good that night and then only had a little diarrhea Tuesday morning. I thought we were finally done with the sickies (as Aliyah calls it ;). I was wrong. 12:30 am this morning, I wake up to Aliyah crying. I went in her room to find chunks all over her bed. It was her turn for the flu. Great. Got her in the shower cuz it was all over her as well as the bed. Thank goodness she is old enough to wash herself up. I changed all her covers while she was in the shower. Got her back to bed with a puke bucket next to her. She puked a couple more times before finally falling back to sleep. Woke up this morning and went in to check on her. She was awake and the poor thing had puked again and not even known it and had slept the rest of the night in a pile of puke. Good thing it was just liquid and not chunks by then. Yuck!! She didn't puke all day today but she definitly wasn't feeling well. She has had a fever, while Kinsley didn't have a fever. Aliyah is still running a fever. Lets pray that she gets over this before her birthday, which is Friday. That would just be awful to be sick on your birthday. I pray that Brandon and I manage to dodge this but I have a feeling we won't. We'll see.

I did laundry alllllll day today. I think I washed 6 or 7 loads. Hopefully tomorrow I will get a chance to get some pictures off the camera to the computer and post them. I'm really behind.
