I'm only 1 week late in getting Brandon's birthday posted. Better late than never, right? So, Brandon turned 30 last Friday and I let him decide what he wanted to do. If it were up to me, I would have thrown him a big birthday party but he didn't want a party. He doesn't really like to be the center of attention and that's ok. He really wanted to go to Chicago for the weekend but there were several things that kept us from doing that and it's a good thing we didn't plan to go b/c they had a TON of snow up there last weekend and we probably wouldn't have even made it up there. So instead we went somewhere closer overnight, just me, him and Emmy. Emmy had to go b/c she downright refuses to take a bottle, or a sippy cup which means she would starve if Momma wasn't around. Aunt Alora was brave enough to keep Aliyah and Kinsley overnight for us, which was the first time Kinsley had ever stayed the night somewhere else without me. Thankfully she did really well and she didn't keep Aunt Alora and Uncle Matt up all night...lol.
Anyway...Brandon went to work for half the day on Friday. He found this when he got to work. Done by his coworkers. Wasn't that so nice of them? I think they love him :).
After he got off, we packed up the van, dropped the girls off at Aunt Alora's and headed to our hotel. We went out to eat and then we got to go to a comedy club while Emmy went and played with her cousins. We picked her up and headed back to the hotel. After we got her ready for bed, I realized I hadn't taken any pictures yet! So I had to take a couple before going to bed.
Emmy set a record at the hotel...she slept 6 straight hours!! Probably b/c she was so exhausted since she didn't go to bed til 12:30. But she was awake and ready to go at 6:30am...all smiles :)
