Winter, you can LEAVE!!

I am so done with winter!!  DONE!!  I'm tired of the freezing cold weather, I'm tired of having to bundle my kids up like eskimos every time we leave the house, I'm tired of carrying all the coats and blankets around when we're out and about, I'm tired of getting stuck on our icy road (more on this in a minute), and most of all I'm tired of my babies being sick.  I just want them healthy again.  They are so miserable.  Poor Emmy started getting better and now she's getting worse again.  Ugh!  She's going to forget how to even crawl by the time she gets better b/c she won't even get down on the floor to play.  She just wants to be held.  Kinsley is just a whiny mess until she gets Motrin or Tylenol in her, then she's good to go for awhile until it wears off.  Aliyah is still coughing and has a runny nose.  I thank God that our girls are normally so healthy.  I realize some parents aren't as lucky.  I just can't wait for them to be all better again. 

The icy road situation is ridiculous!  We had an ice storm 2 weeks ago and that crap is still around.  I hate ice.  Our van hates it too.  We have a dead end road on the side of our house that we use to access our carport.  We have to back onto this road when we leave.  Normally this is not a problem, except right now it's a sheet of ICE.  ALL ICE!!!!  Did I mention that our van does not like ice?  Not at all.  I left to go to work this morning and I got stuck.  Luckily, by the grace of God, I was able to eventually gain enough traction to go but tonight we weren't so lucky.  We had to call Brandon's Dad to come over with his Jeep to get pull us.  The city owns this road and I feel like its their responsibility to do something to this road.  I guess they don't feel the need since only us and one other family use this road, but it's still their property.  Should be their responsiblity, right?  I thought so.  

Ok, I think that's enough complaining for one night.  I feel a little better now ;).  I'm off to go catch up on some of my TV shows.  I'm almost 3 weeks behind, which never happens...unless I have sick kiddos for 3 weeks.
