24 Weeks

I was 24 weeks last Friday so I got the camera out to take a few more pictures this last weekend. I also had my check-up on Friday. I knew I was going to see a weight gain because up to my last check-up, I had not gained a single pound....I had just gained back what I had lost which was 6 lbs. So I stepped on the scale and said "Oh my gosh!!" I gained 7 lbs in ONE month!!! Granted that is all I have gained so far but that's a LOT in one month (at least for me it is). My doctor didn't like seeing 7 lbs either so I have another appt in 2 weeks just so he can check my weight. He also scheduled the diabetes test a little early. He's really watching me for Gestational Diabetes b/c I was borderline with Aliyah. He told me again to watch my sugar intake...which is extremely hard for me but I'm trying ;) Other than that, all is good with the baby. She definitly likes to move around, especially around the time I go to bed...which doesn't exactly make sleeping comfortable.

So here's my belly at 24 weeks. I'm pretty sure it has almost doubled in the last 4 weeks. Aliyah sure does like to remind me exactly how big my stomach is. She told me the other day "Mommy, you're belly is GIANT!!" She made sure to emphasize the giant too :) She mentioned again tonight how big my belly is. I can't imagine what she's going to say when it's even bigger.


Aliyah came in my room while I was taking these so she had to get in on the action as well. Sorry for the skinny crop...I cropped out all the junk in the corner of our room. A corner of our room has become piled up with baby stuff until we get the baby's room done.


Brandon took this one. He took about 20-25 pictures and I didn't like any of them but I'm posting the best one. Excuse the weird look on my face...LOL.
