3 Weeks

It's hard to believe that Kinsley is already 3 weeks old. Man, where does the time go? I could just sit and hold her all day long. She is so sweet and such a good baby. She still doesn't cry very much at all. The only time she really cries is when she's hungry and she lets everyone know it too ;) I just wish she would stay this little for a while longer. She is already starting to outgrow some of her newborn clothes...makes me so sad. I wonder how much weight she has gained but she doesn't go back to the doctor until the 25th of this month.

One thing that I didn't mention in her 2 week post is that she always has her hands up by her face. Every ultrasound I had while I was pregnant, at least one of her hands was up by her face. Every time she is sleeping at least one hand has to be by her face. Funny girl. Even when she is eating her hands are up in her face. If we try to swaddle her and even put a blanket over her hands, she will pull them out right away.

These are just some snapshots I took yesterday. Notice where her right hand is?

We had the Ocean Wonders bouncer from Aliyah that we kept. Aliyah loved that bouncer from day 1. She would sleep in that thing for hours and if she was fussy, it would soothe her. However, Miss Kinsley HATES that bouncer! I have tried to put her in there several times and as soon as I would sit her in there, she would scream. So when we went shopping over the weekend, we decided to buy a different bouncer. We bought the baby papasan seat. It vibrates and plays music just like the other one but the papsan seat is much more comfortable. All the padding pretty much surrounds Kinsley and thank goodness, she LOVES it!

Notice the hand? ;)

Just in case you haven't noticed exactly how much hair Kinsley has, here is a picture of the back of her head to show off that dark, beautiful hair of hers. We get so many comments on how much hair she has. I just hope it doesn't all fall out like Aliyah's did.

And just a couple of Kinsley sleeping on Daddy's chest last night.

This is a funny angle and I'm not sure it works but I wanted to show how Kinsley snuggles up right under Daddy's chin when she lays on his chest.

I know Brandon's eyelashes aren't in focus and I wish they were b/c he has got some amazingly long lashes and I LOVE 'em!! Aliyah got lucky and inherited his long eyelashes. I'm not sure about Kinsley yet but I'm hoping she gets them too.

Oh how precious. She looks so healthy and actually looks big until you see her in proportion with her daddy. Those are some special pictures.

What an adorable littlw sweetie. My newest GD is the same way about her hands, and for the same reason. I LOVE the last 2 shots; SO tender. The conversion is perfect fo them, because you see the emotion without being distracted by color. Nice!!
