A favorite dress and a great Granny

Before Aliyah was born, Brandon found this cute little Carters ducky dress (in his favorite colors - blue and yellow) and just had to buy it. Every chance he got, he put it on Aliyah. He was sad when she outgrew it and I think he would have bought another one in a bigger size if Kohls had still had them at that time. I kept the dress and imagine his surprise yesterday when he found the dress in Kinsley's closet. I'm sure she will be wearing this dress quite often, just like her sister =)

My sister and I went to our Granny's house today to have lunch with her. My Granny is very special. She is always there for anyone who needs her, she is so loving, has a great spirit and she has helped me numerous times in my life. I just love her dearly! I am extremely thankful that I get to share my girls with my Granny.

I just love the joy on Granny's face in this photo!

Granny with my 2 girls. I'm so mad at myself b/c I forgot to check my exposure for this one b/c I was so worried about getting it quickly before Kinsley started to scream and before Aliyah got up and ran away. I still like like it and it was more for the memory.

My sister got a new camera and we were messing around taking self portraits and I *think* I actually got one that I like. Not 100% sure I like it but definitly better than any I've attempted before.

And just another one of the same pose in the same chair...just different clothes on a different day. Its definitly going to be fun to look back on these to see how much she grew in such a short amount of time.

All so sweet, but I really love the 3rd one with your grandma and your perspective on this one.
