Playin' Catch Up

We didn't do much for July 4th this year considering we have a newborn in the house. We did go to Brandon's parents house for lunch and then we headed out to the lake for a bit. Aliyah had been sick off an on for a couple of days but she seemed fine most of the day on July 4th until that evening. She spiked a fever again and just wanted to sleep so we went home and she took a nap. When she woke up, we went and parked so she could watch the fireworks. Although she wasn't feeling well, she still wanted to watch fireworks. Since she wasn't feeling good, I didn't get any pictures of her on July 4th. I did get some of the one that can't run from me or tell me no ;)

My little July 4th baby :-)

On Sunday, Aunt Cindy and her new fiance, Jordan came to meet Kinsley for the first time. Cindy and Jordan got engaged on July 4th at the Cardinals baseball game! How cool is that!? And even better, Miss Aliyah gets to be the flower girl! I can't wait!!

Just ignore the look on Kinsley's face in this one ;) Not sure what she was doing/thinking.

We went shopping on Saturday and I was completely thrilled when I found these matching dresses in the right sizes for the girls. Since Aliyah is already in little girls sizes, I didn't think I would be able to find them matching dresses or outfits but I did! I found these at Kohl's and I just love them!

Aliyah is feeling better. Brandon took her to the dr on Thursday and she apparently just had a virus...again. I don't understand how she has gotten a virus 4 times this year already and she is only around the kids I babysit and none of them have had the same thing. If she gets it again, I'm going to ask about doing further tests to find out why she is getting the same thing so many times. Up until this year, she had rarely ever been sick so it kind of worries me.

These are so sweet. I love love her little 4th of July outfit. I keep meaning to ask you do use a flash on all of your indoor shots. They are always so perfect. I just got the 430 speedlite and am hating it!

Cute shots! Can't believe how big Kinsley is already! The first photo of the two in their matching dresses is really cute. Nice work.

OMG, Kinsley is such a doll baby! I love all of that dark hair she has! They girls are both beautiful in their matching dresses, how lucky you found those! I hope Aliyah gets to feeling better once and for all, or the dr's find out what is causing her to get sick so much... that worries me too. :(
