making progress

I'm happy to report that we are making progress during bathtime with Miss Kinsley! Last night was the first time she didn't cry the entire time she was getting a bath. I made Daddy get the camera so we could document her first cryless (is that a word?) bath. I'm hoping it continues. It doesn't stress me out when she cries during her bath, I just hate to hear her cry for any reason.

Of course, big sister had to get in the picture. The little stinker hasn't let me take her picture pretty much since Kinsley was born...hence the lack of Aliyah pictures lately. She loves that we put Kinsley's bathtub in the tub with her so they can take a bath together.

I smiled when this one came on my computer screen. You can see Aliyah in the bottom right corner washing Kinsley's little foot. I wish more of that would have been in the picture but I still love it. Aliyah is such a good big sister. Honestly I wasn't sure how she would do with a new baby in the house or how her behavior would change. She sure has surprised me though. Overall, her bahavior has been pretty good and she is awesome with Kinsley. She helps me with so much and she just loves being a big sister.


And just to prove that Aliyah does still exist, here are some pictures of her enjoying her new pool today. My little sister came over and played with her today and they had a blast swimming in the 100 degree weather. It was seriously 100 degrees today!! WAY too hot for me!
