My baby is 6 weeks already!

I haven't been able to post for the past week because I had some issues with the internet connection on my laptop. Finally got it fixed.

Quite a bit has happened over the last week. Aliyah finished her last day of swimming lessons on Saturday. I hate to admit that I did not take my camera but I forgot it was the last day. Actually I have forgotten a lot lately. I'm going to blame it on baby brain ;) I'm definitly looking forward to sleeping in this Saturday...swimming lessons were at 9am.

I'm sad to report that Miss Kinsley is 6 weeks old already =( Seriously, where does the time go? She's gotten so big! I think her cheeks get chubbier every day. She's starting to smile more and more but man does she make you work for a smile. Kinsley smiled at Aliyah the other night and Aliyah just thought that was the greatest thing ever. She was so excited and she still tells everyone that she got 3 smiles, not just 1, from Kinsley. I really think Aliyah loves being a big sister and I'm so glad. She's doing great with Kinsley around.

Kinsley has decided the last 3 days that she isn't happy unless Mommy or Daddy are holding her. She doesn't like her papasan seat, her swing, her carseat, or her playmat. She will lay in her crib for a few minutes and watch her mobile but once it goes off, she lets us know immediately. I ordered a sling last week and got it on Monday but I have yet to figure it out, which is really frustrating for me. I'm pretty sure its too small so I'm going to have to send it back and get the next size up. Brandon even tried to figure out the sling and he also thinks its too small. I'm pretty bummed b/c I could have really used that thing that last few days.

I have a baby shoe fetish. I just love baby shoes! Aliyah found these shoes at WalMart when I was pregnant and we had to get them. Aren't they adorable?!


Look what my big girl gave me this last week....a smile!!!! She actually posed for me instead of running and I didn't even have to bribe her...LOL =)
