We had an extremely busy Christmas but it was good! I have so many pictures to go through and I haven't even started. Haven't even uploaded them to the computer yet. So you may be seeing quite a few photos from Christmas for the next several days, providing I make the time to sit down and sort through them and then post them. By the way, one of my new years resolutions is to post to my blog much more frequently. I haven't set a number yet b/c I want to make it reasonable. Saying that I will post every single day is just stupid b/c that is just not possible some days. I guess we'll just wait and see how it goes.
New years eve was fun. We had a couple friends over and we all sat and played the Wii that Santa brought Daddy for Christmas. Nothing too extravagant but we had a good time. We let Aliyah stay up but she ended up falling asleep on the couch around 11:00. Maybe some year she will last til midnight.
As I mentioned, Daddy got a Wii for Christmas. He was totallly surprised! I had planned on getting him one but wasn't sure I was going to be able to find one. I was ecstatic when I did, which was only the Saturday before Christmas. It's a good thing it took me so long to find one b/c I am terrible at keeping surprises a secret and I could not wait for him to open it on Christmas. It took everything I had to keep my mouth shut. He plays with it every chance he gets and Aliyah plays with him. One night, Aliyah had to show Grandma and Grandpa how she played bowling with Daddy and she ended up getting 4 strikes in a row!! She was pretty excited! Daddy isn't very good at bowling so getting beat by a 4-year-old sure didn't help ;). We ended up getting a Wii Fit after Christmas with some of our Christmas money and we love it! If you have a Wii and not the Wii Fit, I strongly suggest you getting it b/c it is AWESOME!!
We all got lots of good stuff. Some of my favorite things that I got were some shirts that Brandon picked out all on his own (I was impressed!), a new purse (what girl doesn't love a new purse?), Multiple Blessings book by Jon & Kate Gosselin (LOVE their show!!) oh, and I finished the book 2 days ago already, and we also got a GPS from Brandon's parents. Brandon was pretty excited about that one as well. He had to put it in our van as soon as we opened it and then he had to drive around just to make sure it worked, or play with it ;).
The girls got so much stuff I feel like our house shrank in half. All their stuff was in our living room until yesterday when I was finally able to put most of it away. Kinsley got lots of toys and clothes. She got enough toys to fill an entire toy box and then some. I had to go through all of Aliyah's old toys and all the stuff in her room to make room for all her new stuff. We even had to move her vanity to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Needless to say, they both had a very good Christmas filled with lots of new goodies. But Santa doesn't bring anything to our house b/c Miss Aliyah is terrified of him. We don't leave cookies out for him and he doesn't bother coming here. We finally just told her that Mommy and Daddy buy her presents and Santa worries about all the other little boys and girls. I've never seen a child so afraid of Santa. I feel bad for her.
Enough about Christmas for now. You'll probably hearing more as I get to posting the pictures. For now, here is me with my munchkins on Christmas morning in all our Christmas morning glory (read: no makeup for me and I hadn't even brushed my hair yet, but don't look at that ;)

Here's to a wonderful 2009!!!! Hope yours has been great so far!
