Snaps from today

Aliyah finally got to go back to school today and she was more than excited! She was up bright and early ready to go. She got to take one of her favorite toys that she got for Christmas to school today for show and tell and she was super excited about that. She chose to take her new Chou-Chou baby doll that came with a carrier. She told me all about all the other toys that everyone else took. One little girl took a dog named Lucky that does tricks. Aliyah was pretty excited about that dog and she says to me "Mom, I really wanted one of those dogs for Christmas." Yeah, ok. I've never even seen such a thing but her birthday is coming up so I suppose we will be on the lookout for one. It's not like she doesn't have a real dog.

She has had this cowboy hat for about a year now and every once in a while she will get it out and wear it. I had her hair all done this morning when she put that hat on and said "I'm wearing this to school today!" Alrighty then. Didn't really match her outfit but she didn't care. Her teachers thought it was pretty cute. She even posed for a few pictures for me. (I did tell her she could wear it only if she let me take her picture ;) Hey, whatever works, right?)


This is Kinsley's new favorite hang out spot. We've had her jumperoo for quite a while and she has always liked it but her swing was her favorite. However, we took the swing down when the Christmas tree came down to make room for all her new toys. So now she gets to hang out in the jumperoo and get some exercise!
