nesting

It has begun....already. I start nesting quite early, or at least earlier than other pregnant women I've known. I guess that could be due to the fact that I like to be prepared. I like to plan and be organized. Yesterday Aliyah had a snow day so between Kinsley being cranky, art projects, crafts, and Aliyah being overly energetic I managed to get quite a bit done. I organized a few things in Kinsley's room. The baby and Kinsley will be sharing a room for now. The baby will be sleeping in our room for several months though, but they will be sharing a closet and dresser. I finished a small project that I had been wanting to do for quite some time. I had a basket for all of Kinsley's hair bows and headbands but every chance she got, she would dump it on the floor and spread them from one end of the house to the other. Now they hang neatly on the wall, all attached to ribbons. Organized, just the way I like it, and out of her reach ;). I also dusted the living room, deep cleaned the kitchen, washed our comforter at the laundry mat (its way too huge for our washer), washed several loads of laundry, and cleaned out Kinsley's toy box. Oh, and I washed up the infant car seat and got it put back together. Pretty productive day, I'd say. Now I have the urge to rearrange our bedroom (to make more room for the bassinet) and finish hanging stuff on the walls. Brandon painted our bedroom a year ago and we never put anything back on the walls or did much of anything else. So that's my next project. Then I have a whole list of mini projects that I'd like to accomplish before baby arrives. We'll see how much I get done...
