I had to post the date today because 1/11/11 will never happen again :). Pretty cool, huh?
Aliyah had her 4th snow day today so we chilled at home. I was supposed to have a dr's appointment this morning and then I was supposed to go to work, but I cancelled my dr's appointment and didn't go in to work. Sooo glad I can do that with my job! We started our day with some pancakes for breakfast. Kinsley did more than just eat at breakfast....lol.
Daddy came home early from work to take the older girls sledding. Since Emmy can't stay outside in the cold very long, I can't the older girls outside when I'm home by myself. The girls were ecstatic to go sledding!
They ended up running into the lovely sewer pump station that is in our yard. Poor Kinsley's noggin bounced right off that pole. Luckily she didn't get hurt. It looked much worse from a distance.
I did take Emmy out for just a couple minutes...long enough to sit her down and take a couple pictures. She was not a fan of the cold.
Poor Kins couldn't see because her hat kept falling down but she didn't seem to mind.
This was the look I got when I said it was time to go back inside. She actually ended up staying out way too long.
And just a fun comparison of the 3 girls in the snow for the first time each wearing the same snowsuit. I've posted the pics of Aliyah and Kinsley before. I bought this snowsuit at a yard sale when Aliyah was a baby. I paid 3 bucks for it, so I didn't care too much that it was blue. We've gotten quite a bit of use out of it for 3 bucks :).
Another snow day tomorrow for Aliyah. #5 already and it's only the second week of January.
