chores

I found this really cool magnetic responsibility chart on Amazon before Christmas.  As soon as I saw it, I knew Aliyah would love it.  Brandon didn't think so but I knew I was right (and I was :).  She loves it and she is totally into doing her chores now! SCORE! =)  We've been struggling with trying to find the perfect system that works for her and us to teach her some responsibilities around the house and this is it!! 

It came with all kinds of different chore magnets and the little round smiley faces to mark when the chore is done for each day of the week. 

I also got her this magnetic calendar.  She loves it just as much!  It's hard to see but notice the "lost a tooth" magnet on Sunday =)  It came with soooo many different magnets.

I guess I should mention these are both Melissa & Doug products in case anyone was wondering.  I love their stuff!  Here's a pictures of the bottom boards where you store all the extra magnets. 

 See how excited she is to make her bed so she can mark it off on her chart?  I love it!!

And just b/c this is one is so sweet, I'm gonna post it too.  Aliyah likes to use my camera so every once in a while I'll let her take a couple pictures and I'm always so glad when I do let her b/c she always gets something good :-).
