Apparently Emmy didn't get the memo that we like to sleep in around here when she joined our family. She thinks that 6:30am is a pretty darn good time to wake up. And she doesn't wake up quietly either. She also thinks that 6:30am is a pretty darn good time to exercise her vocal cords to see how high she can screech that little voice of hers. Soooo not cool! Now 6:30am may not sound all that early for some people, but for us, it's WAY TOO EARLY!! We are late nighters and we like to sleep in. I can remember when Aliyah was a baby she would stay up until 11pm and sleep in until about 10am. She fit right in :). Kinsley came along and she eventually got in the routine of going to bed at 8pm and getting up at about 8am. I can handle 8am, no problem. But 6:30am? No thank you!! I'm not sure what we are going to do. I guess the smart thing for me to do would be to go to bed earlier but I just can't seem to go to sleep before midnight. If I do go to bed earlier than midnight, I end up laying there staring at the celing for hours. Not only does Emmy wake up at 6:30am, she still wakes up 2-3 times a night to eat. So if you see me out and about and I look like a zombie, you know why!!
